Preparing your PDF for Delivery & Production
In Adobe Photoshop merge all the layers by selecting the “Image” menu then navigating to the “Flatten Image” option.
Select All objects & layers, then click the “Object” menu and choose “Flatten Transparency” – Select the preset “High Resolution” and activate the “Convert Text To Outlines” and “Preserve Overprints…” this will convert the preset to “Custom”.
Please make sure that your project is designed in CMYK. Verify the format is in the CMYK color mode before saving to PDF. In Photoshop the selected mode should be “Image -> Mode -> CMYK”.
Die Lines must be left editable, If submitting a job with a standard die please remove it and specify which die you would like. Our Prep Dept. will place a removable die for proofing reasons.
Please make sure that when you are ready to save the project in pdf format you include an 1/8 inch bleed on all sides, even if one side doesn’t bleed. It is necessary in order to keep the artwork centered to include the same bleed on all sides.
